"This is an excellent property set in a stunning landscape with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The barn is very well appointed and the photos don't really do it justice. Great furnishings, lovely kitchen and wet room and a patio with seats and a BBQ that looks out over the local rolling hills. Really good break and we would definitely stay here again. "

"The apartment had everything we were looking for and the hosts provided milk, butter, cereal and cookies to get you started. The floors creak, which could be an issue if you’re a light sleeper, but they didn’t bother us. We had issues being unfamiliar with how things in the apartment functioned, but the hosts responded to any questions immediately! The grocery store is a 5 min walk, and the city center is a 10-15 min walk. We walked to/from the train station, with luggage, with no problem....

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! "We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings.
