"Overall enjoyed our stay but there were a few small things that could have made our stay more fulfilling. The entire place is made kids friendly which was really touching and is a welcome attitude given we are a family with 2 kids. The breakfast spread was quite good but had very limited vegetarian options - again the kids section there was really awesome! Rooms were quite clean but a bit smaller than anticipated, the toilet exhaust was a bit low or not working which made it a bit awkward....

"This was my first time in Gunma and i cant believe how luckily i got with this stay. Nice, relaxing stay plus they had bikes so i could explore the area and really enjoy the country side. I liked too that the bathroom had a window i could open and view the nice scenary while taking a hot shower. The owner is a really kind guy that is there to ensure you are having a good time and is always open for a nice conversation. I will definitely be staying here each time im in Gunma and i recommend it...

"Top Notch facility. Excellent buffet, in which they came up with innovated ways and controls due to the COVID situation. Staff eager to help with anything. Location was nice as it was right on the river. Plan to go back during the Spring or early summer as scenery is spectacular."

"Clean, comfortable hotel with Pte bath, indoor n outdoor onsens with good view of the Tone River. The daily breakfast was great, we can order western or Japanese set the day before. Dinner menu was delicious with good choices and nice presentation of the food. Dinner is about 6 courses. This hotel was only opened in Nov 22, well kept with auto checking in and checking out. They provide shuttle bus to station at 9.15/10.15 in the morning and pick up services at Jomokagen station at 14:55/15:55...

"Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "Very traditional Japanese style inn. If you are looking for stainless steel, soulless, and sterilized, this is not the place for you. This place is old, with all of the patina that comes with that. The breakfast is an incredible traditional country food buffet with local highlights. The reception was warm and kind- and the tatami rooms were very spacious. Exactly the kind of authentic culture we wanted."
