"This historic home was a pleasure to stay in. It was like stepping back in time. We shared the bathroom with one other couple, whom we never saw. We had the music room, which was at the front of the property. There is a railway not far away and we were a little concerned about the noise however once evening came the train noise was greatly reduced and we didn't hear them again until morning. There is a restaurant downstairs, we didn't have time to try it out. That went quiet by 10pm so no...

"Even before we arrived, I knew we would have a great experience, mainly because of a series of email exchanges with Richard. On arrival and for 5he 2 days we were there, we were impressed with the detail and thoughtfulness of this hospitality. Beautiful house on top of a hill, close to the vieneyards and concert venue, excellent breakfasts and the added extra of transport to and from bimbadgen made this a stay to remember. "That's really amazing!!! Kids definitely love there! We booked a swim out apartment and my kids can just swim out and we just watch them on the balcony. If you booked a 2 bedder swim out apartment, they would say they don't have, and they would give you one studio and one bedder. That's common there but they are both connected together. So don't worry about it too much. The swimming pool is well maintained as well. Very cool."
