"Cremorne Point Manor is always a lovely place to stay and if you are going to catch the ferry into the city I highly recommend it. If you have a car maybe consider somewhere else that has a carpark, it was a constant struggle to find a space this trip and one of the days I had to park 900m away up the hill which definitely detracts from the experience. The owner George is accessible through WhatsApp, and he can answer questions, but there is no service provided other than trash removal. "Sia (Tracy), is very nice and helpful. The house is a little over a mile (1.9 km) from the train station. It is an easy walk, no hills, through downtown St. Marys. You can take a bus (no. 771) to/from the train station. The stop is 1 block from the house, but the bus only runs once an hour. There are 2 grocery stores less than a 10 minute walk away (Aldi and Woolworths). They are conveniently on the way to/from the train station. The house is located on the edge of town. "Everything ok if a budget stay suits, which it did for me. Room & bathroom were fine. Sadly my bedroom smelt of someone else’s b.o. Breakfast: marmalade in abundance! Other supplies were a little lacking tbh & the host sniffing the long life skim milk on my arrival probably wasn’t the best look. I found another little full cream but had long expired. Overall you probably get what you pay for, not great but not the worst either. "

"Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them."
