"Have always seen the Sofitel as the best place to stay in Denerau. The room was lovely and spacious and has been upgraded since I was there 4 years ago. The buffet breakfast was great and lots to chose from. They used to have champagne as part of the breakfast but this appears to be no longer. I did find dinners to be expensive. The two main restaurants either buffet or al la carte were at least 70 Fiji up for an adult. So no real cheap options for dinner. I did end up going to denerau port for dinner a number of times as it was cheaper for me to catch the bula bus there and eat than to eat dinner at the resort. They dont appear to have happy hour here either which a number of the other resorts have. However the cocktails are nice. The activities during the day werent as good as say the radisson but had the usual fish feeding, aqua-aerobics etc. The staff at the towel/activities were friendly. All in all had a great stay here with my 6 year old son. he enjoyed the slide and spending time in the pool. "

"Several resorts to choose from in the bay and hands down this resort was the best one. Large pool areas, dining options are many, staff catering to your every need, chefs well trained, nightly dancing shows, rooms cleaned every day, pool side service and pool Bars. A stay of a life time. "

"Lovely place to stay& so close to Airport. Some work is required to eliminate the water from shower getting into hand basin area. "

"Really a superb hotel to stay in for a getaway. Staff are really amazingly helpful.A huge lobby for you to sit and relax with cafes and restaurants to choose from. The menus are incredible in all restaurants. Amazing place."

"South sea paradise island. Beautiful resort with modern amenities. Wonderful staff. Beautiful coral reefs nearby. Room is spacious and comfy. Our room is oceanfront with view of the Castaway island where Tom Hanks’s movie was filmed. We were sad to leave. "

Many of the guests, particularly from Australia and New Zealand, don't have easy access to tropical fruits, and I’m sure they’d appreciate the refreshing addition of fresh tropical juices. Lastly, while we loved the overall experience, the gardening area could be made more attractive to enhance the overall ambiance. Overall, it’s an excellent resort, and we will always look back on our stay fondly. Thank you again for everything!"
