"Incredible stay at Villa Marcella. The rooms are nice and comfortable and it’s great finishings. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ceviche caribeno. Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"From the moment you arrive you have become part of a family. Owners and staff are super friendly and kind and there are many stories to be told. As a senior I would have liked to see a grab bar in the shower, there was nothing to hold on to. The shower is strictly overhead, bring a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. Another essential item is a flashlight, the rooms are a bit on the dark side."

"Serene, beautiful property with a great lagoon view. Super easy parking and secure entrance. We stayed in two room types and thought both were excellent (lagoon view suite, and partial lagoon view room). The overall vibe was nice with chill electronic music playing and waiters roaming to make sure you had all you needed, the food an drinks were excellent (ate multiple meals during our stay). Only critique would be that the lounge chairs facing the lagoon are limited in number, and other guests...

"The cabin was well-equipped, even luxurious, with a great view. Esmeralda, our cook and staff person, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The grounds are peaceful with great bird watching. We kayaked every day and did yoga on the screened in porch. I was so happy we decided to pass by here! It was restorative and relaxing, with great affordable meals. Thank you!"

"The staff was super friendly.. Apartments are super spacious and cleaned. Coffe, sugar, water and cooking oil. The pool was clean and great to use. We love they recycle. Laguna is a block away.. its a walk from ado, but we opted for a taxi. 50 pesos.thanks Steven, Mario, Marco and Karla. We went dancing to Catrina which was fun and safe."

"What an incredible tranquil stay. Staff is incredible, morning breakfast is healthy and so clean. There’s a bocce court and the restaurant has a simple menu that’s vegan friendly but also serves incredible rib eye! Hotel is set in the jungle with a short stroll to the lagoon for a sunrise kayak ride. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. This is just outside the centro which was fine for us since we had a car. We will definitely be back. "

"Christino Lagoon hotel is a wonderful hotel on an amazingly beautiful Lagoona. Netsed in tropicla vegetation the hotel provides a relaxed superior accomodation. It is a 30 min walk from town but I loved the secultion. The restaurant on site serves delicious food . it is a bit expansive but again the view while you eat is special. The staff is very sweet friendly and extremely accomodating. I must come back!"
