"This was a slice of paradise! It is a gorgeous resort. It is not super big which is nice. We had a Beach Bungalow and it was right on the water and we could walk to all the restaurants and the front desk. The staff is wonderful and really go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. We would go back in a heartbeat!"

"We loved the breathtaking views and amazing scenery. We chose the Petit Piton suite, which was still very large and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, credit to Tanisha, Yvete and everyone else working at Ladera, very pleasant people. The restaurant and food options were amazing. The games room was a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours. Unfortunately, our private pool experienced heating issues for several days which left it too hot to use at most times. The room service system had errors. But overall, a fantastic experience."

"Beautiful hotel and beach, with lovely staff. Only draw backs being the limited dining options (e.g. only buffet option on Saturdays for $60 per person) and only way to get around is by taxi as hotel is some way away from the shops, bars and restaurants that staff advised against walking to for stafety reasons."

"Good location next to the small shopping and dining area. Easy 10 minute stroll to the beach, which you should do at least once. Pool is nice but I hate that people save their chairs early in the morning and then don’t use them for hours. That should change. I can see why the hotel would rather ignore it, because some guests are out there all day every day, and any inconvenience to their ritual would offend them. But we normal people would like a crack at the pool chairs once in a while."

"An amazing location directly on the shoreline with great views and a virtually private beach. My only advice would be to strongly recommend hiring a car as access to local facilities is awkward without transport. Taxis aren’t cheap but are convenient. We would also recommend spending some days at the sister property La Douphine Estate located on Cocoa Plantation but very close to all tourist attractions near Pitons and beaches. "
