"John welcomed us and was a remarkable host. We stayed in six different accomodations on this trip and this one was by far our favorite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and convenient. John gave us a great dining recommendation which was within an easy 8-10 minute walk. We would love to stay here again. "This was a very beautiful, comfortable property to stay at. The jetted hot tub was great! Staff was extremely firendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the different nooks and rooms to enjoy our brekafast our cup of coffee. The small tavern was fun, comfortable and had great cocktails. We walked all over and bonus find was Redd's Pond where we were able to ice skate! Great restuarants very close by. Highly recommend!"

"Its a quiet place not even a lot of visiable staff. Check in is a different process, but worth it. We had a basement room which definitely insulated us from some of the noise. The street outside is fairly busy, however not prohibitably so. The train station is directly across the street with easy access to the boston to rockport line with stops in Salem, which is why we were there. Already planning a return trip and this is a place we are thinking of staying."
