"Family of 4 including 6 and 9 year old girls. My thoughts: 1. Previous reviews about the hotel needing some updating are now out of date. It’s in very good condition following what looks like recent and ongoing refurbishments. 2. There are a LOT of staff and so always well looked after. Nearly all very nice, kind, helpful and friendly. Only exception is the booking office who weren’t great and at one point had a tether loud shouting saga (not sure what it was about). Rest were great and I’d rate highly. 3. Main restaurant (Atlas) was very good. Great choice of food for all ages and tasty. Normally had an extra bbq section most lunchtimes / dinners as well. Fez restaurant (where you normally get on free sitting a week) was actually a lot worse - food wasn’t great and some of it cold. 4. Entertainment was good. Fun nightly shows and ongoing activities for kids and adults alike. 5. Swimming pools. We went during February half term so conditions were never going to be wonderful but the smaller pool was nicely heated (great to stay in, harder to get out!). No one used the bigger pool as not heated but looks beautiful for the hotter months. 6. Water park was great. Again, felt like it had been through a recent renovation. About 8 slides were heated which helped during the cold period we were there. During hotter periods it would be even better. 7. Location - it’s about 15 mins to the airport and 20 minute cab into town that costs about 150 dirham. Overall rate it highly"

"This was our second stay at Ksar Anika and once again we were delighted with our experience. First of all, the property is fantastic. It is really well thought out, the rooms are lovely and in both rooms that we have stayed in, the beds have been really comfortable. There is a restaurant on site with a good range of dining options. The breakfasts each day were wonderful giving us the opportunity to sample a wide range of different Moroccan dishes. The hotel is located in an area easily walkable to Jemma el-Fnaa and the souks. However, while the building and facilities were great, it is the staff that really make this place a fantastic accommodation choice for a trip to Marrakech. From the friendly and thoughtful staff who welcomed us to the hotel when we arrived and helped with any questions or requests that we had (and even provided us with a packed lunch for or journey home) to the exceptional, hard working gentlemen who looked after us in the restaurant at breakfast and when we chose to dine there in the evening too, nothing was too much trouble. We have never been looked after better than when we have stayed at Ksar Anika and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel is just beautiful. There are special things to discover everywhere. One of our favorites was the secret ice cream parlor in the magnificent garden. Orange trees complemented by the delicate scent of date and birdsong surround you. The staff is also incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. We were so sad when it was time to leave."

"Great location for a first time visit to Marrakech. Everything is within walking distance and is easy to get to. The staff were welcoming and always at hand to help. The riad is clean and beautiful. The terrace is nice and a great place to relax after a day of exploring. I will definitely stay here again!"
