"We stayed at Simba for 4 days and our time there was so great. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious (we ate breakfast there every morning and dinner there every night). The pool was well used by my three kiddos and the lounge chairs were a nice touch next to the pool. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The villa is very spacious and would easlly accomodate a much larger family than ours. The garden is really large with many beauiful flowering bushes, coconut palms and a large porch where we took our meals. Nearby, there are two small nice restaurants, we also used the offer to have meals prepared for us by the house-keeper. Lilia was very supportive as host...! "I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Kokono resort. The service was exceptional by staff. The resort if very quaint, peaceful yet full of its own little luxuries such as the beach, the view and the exceptional staff. The food was diverse each night and delicious. This was a birthday trip for me in which the staff made me feel celebrated by decorating my room and making me a cake! It was so sweet and pleasantly delightful. Just note that they are located in the village which means the roads are not greatly intact which makes traveling into and out of the village very bumpy and there is no gym which forces true relaxation but they do provide some aquatic activities. I recommend this as 9/10 and plan on returning on my next trip to Zanzibar!"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at LUX at the end of May — the place is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff made our experience truly special. A big shoutout to Kennedy at the front desk — his hospitality was out of this world! So pleasant and polite, he took the time to show us around and made us feel at home right away. Huge thanks to Abdul at the cashier desk for the amazing upgrade to the Executive Beach Front Room #9 — what a treat! And Ali at Café LUX, thank you for your help — such a well-mannered young man. We will definitely be coming back again! "

"The entire hotel staff are absolutely wonderful - they are always friendly and welcoming. They are really what makes this place great. The buffet food was great and our room was wonderful. The rOom and hotel in general were immaculately clean. Even the beach along the nearby coast is crystal clear and clean. would say the water for showering isn't great but I'm not sure there's a whole lot that can be done about that. The hotel is also quite far from Stone Town/the airport, so be prepared to booka lot of taxis if you have things to do on the west side of the island."

"They were wonderful and very accommodating to any changes we needed! Loved the spa and pool area. The staff and services were also 10/10! The beach was still under construction but there were many day trips we had booked that brought us to other beaches on the island. I would love to stay here again in the future!"

"I felt very welcomed when I first arrived at Le Mersenne Autograph Hotel. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming. Also the general manager Michael walks around and introduces himself to all the guess. I only have two little complaints about the room. The sliding door screen was off track and had a hole in the screen and the drapes were dirty at the bottom. But besides that my stay there was very nice. "
