"Please note that this from the perspective of a westerner (Canada) — This was a very traditional Japanese resort. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride. The staff were great and we communicated through a translation app, as most spoke no English and our...
"Nice container hotel room with all you need. They give frozen meals to heat up with microwave in your room so you don’t have to go out for dinner. But there are good restaurants nearby as well."
"Much greenery and wonderful views, especially during rain. Staff is quite friendly and hotel provides good onsen (hot bath) with different water and bath types. The one outside was especially good. Breakfast buffet was little bit limited, but didn’t affect the overall impression."
"Quite a number of insects (suspected mosquitos) appeared in the room time to time even though the windows were all closed.
Onsen bath is not opening 24 hours."
"Very good overall. Clean and comfortable. Good sound insulation. Has plenty of parking spaces. Convenient for those who rent a car. Has a nice laundry room with powder laundry detergent provided. Bed might be a bit too low to sit on for those who have a weak waist, but there was a chair to sit on instead. We enjoyed our stay overall."
"This place is delightful! Easy check-in, super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful facilities. My room was excellent and spacious too. I'll stay again sometime!! Highly recommend!"
"The hotel is very close to the station and many dining options available nearby. Over the years I have stayed here many times, and the rooms are a decent size. The room I booked was very functional, but could be seen as dated, as there are no direct USB ports, but if you are travelling, you have your owm anyways. The staff was also very helpful. I had to borrow an iron and board, and they were able to hold our baggage after check out.
