Nice stay
The property is located at a quite place surrounded by trees. The house is clean and has all basic stockings. We even found a high chair. Lots of TV programs to choose. Overall it's a good place to relax at the end of the day but the house itself doesn't have much things to do.

We enjoyed the property and had a nice time. I would have liked it to be more televisions and more seating in the commons area. The furniture was not comfortable. Overall we made it work and enjoyed our stay.

Spare Bedroom Bed Broken
Overall, our stay in Massanutten was very nice. The one thing that was disappointing is that the bed in the spare bedroom was broken. When my wife laid in it she sunk completely into the center of the bed. When we lifted the mattress to see what the problem was we could see that the wooden stands holding up the wooden slots comprising the bed frame were broken. Therefore providing no support. We made due with the other two bedrooms, but this is definitely something you'll want to fix. Thanks!

Needs a better property management company!!!
Pros: Check-in was easy. Door code to email and it worked the first time. Appliances worked well. Good location to the Massanutten resort activities we were wanting to do although neighboring property to one side was quite unkempt. Cons: 1 of the bathroom showers was still dirty. Soap scum and body wash dried on the walls of the shower. Dirty sheets (blood) on the top bunk of the kids bunk room Camp fire smoke smelled really strong in 2nd bedroom. Bed had been used and bedding not changed in this room. Amount of towels and wash cloths was insufficient for 6 people. Table in "dining" area has 4 chairs... for 6 people. Couch that was in listing pictures for living room had been moved to the basement and a tiny apartment sized couch had been put in its place... The tiny couch didn't have pillows for the back so the host just used throw pillows. Held 2 adults and 1 child. Had to use dining room chairs in the living room. After multiple attempts to reach the property owner (business not a person) and figuring out sleeping arrangements due to dirty linens we finally were comp'd the first night. Cleaner had to come twice ("didn't see the dirt in the shower") Failed to leave clean linens the first time. Came back with new linens from property management office later in afternoon on second day. Quite a rough first day with lack of communication from property ownership and "hands tied" attitude from Vrbo. I got the "nothing we can do" reply multiple times............
