"Extremely well equipped to a high standard. We were welcomed with essential groceries, a bottle of wine and a speciality dessert of the region. Patrick was available if we needed him and managed the pool/cover. He was private and discreet. We have stayed in gites many times and this was one of the best with a great pool."

"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

"The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure."

"We chose this unit for its convenience to the Saint-Emilion and East Bordeaux Wine areas. We were not disappointed. While it really is amongst the vineyards, it made for interesting trips to the neighboring small villages."

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"Monique and Michel were fantastic hosts - warm and welcoming when we arrived late in the day. We stayed in the attached cottage and we welcomed the fresh croissants and bread in the morning. Even though there are other properties attached and b&b guests it was still so peaceful, the gardens and outside spaces were amazing and offered not only plenty of spaces to sit but were so beautiful to be in. We loved the swimming pool and sauna - again the spaces were well thought out and were harmonious...
