"Drove for 10 hours when we got there we were told everything shuts at 8:30 had to drive if you needed food went to the toilet in reception it was filthy. Even though we paid for the stay we turn round got in the car and left "

"Great choice if you are visiting Paulliac or Saint Julien wineries at Bordeaux. Very close to a few famous ones. The room is spacious and the amenities are nice. Good restaurant as well. However, the only issue is the Accessibility, they have quite a few bumps, stairs if you are using a wheelchair or so."

"Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"Pascale, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly. She helped with dinner reservations and information about the area. Breakfast was made to order in a darling dining room. The entire property was charming nestled next to a vineyard. On-site parking and a lovely garden were a bonus. I would highly recommend staying here if you are interested in the Medoc area, "

"Chateau Pierre de Montignacer is a lovely place, highly recommended! Marie and Romain are lovely and friendly people who put the well-being of their guests first - great level of service. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings, healthy and delicious breakfast, - and not least wonderful wines. Wine tasting tour is a good experience. A place you want to return to."

"Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

"WOW! This is an amazing new place in St-Estephe and it is wonderful. Careful attention to every detail. Beautifully designed. Comfortable rooms with a/c. Awesome table d'hote. "The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely. The hotel is attached to five acres of woods, they allow dogs to stay in the rooms, and our two Labradors loved their walks there.
