Hosts reserved a parking spot in a garage for us too, which was perfect since we had a rental car. Hosts are informative and did a wonderful job communicating with us. Pretty views from the apartment windows. Location is excellent. "

"The process from beginning to end was outstanding. Tanja was thoughtful and welcoming and made sure we were prepared for our time in Trier. The views of the town from the well-appointed deck and apartment were among the best I’d ever experienced. Groceries and public transportation are in ready reach and allowed for exploration of the ancient history of the region. Overall, an outstanding experience."

"What a unique place to stay! We were on the way driving from Frankfurt to Luxembourg and stopped there for 1 night. The farm is located approximately 40 min from the center of Luxembourg city in a very rustic beautiful area surrounded by green fields and windmills. The very clean little cottage has two rooms- one with a bunk bed, the second one with a king size bed, bedding was very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with anything you might need for cooking your own food. A large balcony...

"Auch unser zweiter Aufenthalt in der schönen Ferienwohnung der Fam. Schmitz ließ keine Wünsche offen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Motorradtouren nach Luxemburg, Belgien und in die Eifel. In der geräumigen Wohnung, die es am nichts fehlen lässt, muss man sich einfach wohl fühlen und die Gastfreundschaft von Birgit und Michael rundet das Ganze ab. "We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"
