"Lovely place to stay. Each room has its own front door onto the car park. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The food and drink in the pub is really nice and the breakfast is brilliant. Will stay again if in the area. "

"Lovely hotel in a convenient location for the greatest gathering in Derby. Great room, amazing size and powerful shower. Breakfast was great with soo much choice. Restaurant however was very expensive ie £30 steak. We would however happily return in the future."

"Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced.
Staff were excellent. Friendly, polite and attentive.

"When we arrived it was bitterly cold so the owner put on the wood burner which heated the place up until the heating came on.Very clean and everything you need.Very peaceful surroundings the view from the bedroom was amazing.The only problem was the internet is slow but that can’t be helped.Will come back if in that area again"
