This is a lovely hotel and obviously the closet to Graceland. We only stay here when visiting Graceland and the area. Obviously, the hotel and Graceland are located in what is considered by locals etc to be a dangerous area. So I appreciate that my car is behind a gated entrance and a shuttle service. The food at the hotel is mediocre...could use an upgrade and attention. The beds and rooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed.

The place is nice but the house keeping woke us up at 8am and tried to get into our room to clean it, as they couldn’t get in the texted me that we needed to get out even though check out is at 11am. At 9:45 they came back while my son got into the shower I answered the door and she spoke perfect English but when I said we’re not checking out right now she said she doesn’t speak English and I told her the same thing in Spanish she just walked away. I told the front desk and the Manager was supposed to call me and never did.

Basically, you get what you pay for. You pay more to stay here but you get exceptional service and quality. The Elvis tv channels and Graceland cam on the tv are nice additions, as are the complimentary pbj sandwiches for supper. Car parking overnight could be cheaper when other hotels within walking distance offer free parking. Disappointing that the coffee bar closes so early at 6pm each evening.

The entire experience at The Guest House was great. From the free drink vouchers to the nightly PB&J and milk. They say that you pay for the experience at places like this, but the amenities definitely made the price seem more reasonable.

I wish the property was in a better part of town...or should I say, I wish the businesses, streets, sidewalk, etc. around the property were in better shape. Property is great, a jewel in an otherwise dismal part of town.
