"It's a great ole place, with a landmark style. Staff is very nice and accommodating in front. Check in is good. Loved the view and the room is comfortable and clean Some quirks; computers not working, not able to charge the room for the restaurant bill. Cigarette smell down the hallways isn't good, would love a little throw blanket on the bed instead of this little table runner at the foot of the bed. "

"Second stay at this funky-cool hotel. Front desk staff is always friendly. Hotel smells heavenly. Coffee shop, art studios, and convenience store across the street. Beautiful rooftop pool. Comfortable beds. Like another guest remarked, don't be intimidated by the young & sexy crowd. It's an enjoyable stay even if you're not a part of that scene. The en suite bathrooms aren't the most private (sliding door, no exhaust fan, glass cutout in shower that looks onto bed area) so might be uncomfortable to share with non family. Parking can be a little difficult during weekend party time. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I consider it a value for all you get."

"Cancelled flight left me stranded in DFW near daybreak. Great customer service upon early arrival. Amazing plaza across the street with unexpected nightlife and good vibes. Like any big city, be cautious walking in the early morning hours due to dozens of misfortunate sidewalk sleepers"
