"Wonderful place to stay within walking distance to Australia's best beach and Harriet river just across the road. Great base to visit other attractions such as Seal Bay, Little Sahara, Finder's Chase and Stokes Bay. However, spent alot of our time at Vivonne Beach which is just magic. The whiting burger at the general store is definitely worth a try. Loved the homely accommodation, ideal for families with children. Thanks for sharing your lovely home and making Kangaroo Island accessible for visitors. Definitely would recommend and hopefully visit again. "

"Sheoaks is an absolutely stunning property in a breath-taking part of Kangaroo Island. It had more than everything we needed and so many lovely spots to relax and enjoy that incredible view. Snelling Beach is maybe a 5 minute walk away and was our favourite beach of the island and The Fig Tree is also about a 5 minute walk and was a really special lunch experience. We saw loads of kangies - including two boys fighting just down the hill and a red tailed black cockatoo, along with other cute birdies.We got locked out of the laundry at one point... which was not a big deal at all but when we contacted the host, they had their maintenance people over within 30 minutes to open it for us! Very impressed and can't wait to come back (:"

"We stayed for 3 nights and had the whole property to ourselves. We did day trips out but were always keen to come back to enjoy the view and the peace! The house had everything you could ask for (except for ceiling fan or pedestal fans in the bedrooms) but overall we are looking forward to booking this place again for longer and maybe in the cooler months. Communication and directions were great and easy to follow. "

"Comfortable, unique and well designed accommodations in a gorgeous physical setting. We walked the large property and encountered beautiful wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and koalas. Yael provided excellent, thorough guidance prior to our stay and Lina met us on site to provide further assistance with warmth and thoughtfulness. The retreat is near Flinders Chase National Park and a number of animal sanctuaries, all well worth a visit. We loved our visit to Ecopia Retreat! "
