"We didn’t realise until we arrived how big the Reef View Hotel was. We had a lovely, spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was very large too, with double sinks, a bath and shower. It was really convenient to have the shuttle for the ferry and to the airport. The Reef View was also a stopping point for the Island Shuttle and made getting around really easy. "Hamilton Island is a beautiful place to visit. The island is small, and the free shuttle around it is useful. It is a pricey destination, but the room is very nice. The room is fully equipped with a kitchen so if you would want to get provisions before arriving to cut down on costs a bit, you certainly could. "The rooms were very well situated on the beach. Most staff seemed fairly indifferent and I would have expected much better for the price point. Two examples. First, no one ever followed up to my email asking for tours after a week. When I called and waited 20 mins on hold, the response was “we haven’t gotten to it”. When we needed help with a dinner reservation, the staff never followed up at all. Good, but expected better for the price. "

"Apartment is spacious and has a fully equiped kitchen, but the master ensuite shower had mould on the floor tiles (which I could remove with my fingers, so simply not cleaned properly), there were no hand towels or face washers available due to a shortage, the 2nd room was not made up as a king as requested for my friend and the washing machine is temperamental and leaks. "Lovely apartment with everything you could need. We stayed here for 5 nights - the apartment had everything you could have needed from kitchen facilities to outdoor balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy the view.
