"This house was stellar. Beautiful location, amazing views, modern furnishings, etc. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The downfall to this property was the listing company. Before we even brought in our belongings, I informed the agency that the house was full of fruit flies. While they were attracted to food, they were everywhere, often congrating in the kitchen but also near any heat source (so bathroom mirrors, bedroom lights, living room fireplace,etc.). Since I didn't want to have to leave the property while they bug bombed the whole place, I told them we could deal but they needed to do something before the next guests arrived. THEN, the TV went out during the middle of Sunday afternoon football. As I was trying to troubleshoot with the agency, I mentioned the bugs again and asked for a discount given the TV situation and constant fruit flies. They tried to tell me the bugs were gnats that were common to the area and that we just had to deal with it. I'm not that dumb. I know gnats, and I know fruit flies. You can absolutely do something about the latter, and they're not a regular pest that renters should have to deal with. The point is the house was amazing. The fruit flies and agency service was not."

"My family just returned from a wonderful weekend in Greenbackville. This was our second trip to this home. The house is clean, spacious and well stocked with all the supplies we needed in the kitchen and bath areas. We will definitely book another stay. The owner was great to deal with and was quick to answer any questions we had. We love the area and enjoy our morning coffee on the back deck in such a peaceful environment. We even saw a bald eagle one morning - so majestic! Easy drive to Chincoteague, Pocomoke & Berlin. "

"I cant say enough about how amazing our stay was. The house was wonderful. I wish we had more household items, like dish detergent, for the length of stay but that wasnt a problem. The community and residents were very friendly. The proximity to Chincoteague is perfect. We stayed an extra day because we didn't want to leave. We are already planning our visit for next year. "Fantastic property right on the bay with kayaks, fishing poles, and balconies off every room. House was stocked with games, and was perfect for time well spent with three young adults (23, 20, 18) Easy driving proximity to see Chincoteague ponies. Indoor and outdoor pool access as a guest of this property. Would visit again!! "

"The house was nice but not clean. The stove was a disgusting with food burned on which we cleaned other than the underneath of burners. supposedly all food was to be removed from fridge which it was not also food left in freezer. Floors were not clean. Clothing left in dressers so we could not utilize all the space and in closets several items crammed in of owners i suppose. No room to hang clothing. No dresser in one of the bedrooms. Also, upstairs tub was dirty with a ring around the tub. I suggest the owner inspect the home after cleaners have come to make sure everything is up to par."

"This house is great. The many decks off the front of the house have great views of the bay and the screened in porch out back offers a great place to sit out at night without worry of bugs. Every room has a smart tv so each kid had a room to watch their own shows. The loft is stuffed with books and games to keep us busy when it was time to shut the tvs. The house is very functional and well laid out. Perfect for our family of 5 and a puppy. Highly recommend."
