"Having checked in at 7.30 I went out to meet clients at 8.30. On returning at 10.30 the entire place was closed with no lights on and no-one anywhere to be seen. I knocked, I telephoned but no answer. After 20 minutes of trying to get in to. the building I gave up and got a cab to a neighbouring hotel and stayed there. On returning in the morning to get my bags I was informed there is a door round the back, through a garden which you can get in after hours. I said I was not informed about this...

"A lovely hotel wth character. Very comfortable room. Two downsides: the bar is very small and got very busy, and there was quite a wait time to order drinks at times. The other downside is the time to have breakfast.... we arrived at our prebooked time of 9.30 and on both mornings, our breakfast arrived around 10.30 so althought it was a nice breakfast, it would not suit if you are in a rush."
