They came back about a hour later without me letting them in (they were checking the air conditioner). "A modern hotel in Dossenheim with comfortable bedroom and bathroom and nice big window to balcony. Very comfortable bar/sitting area/breakfast area on 3rd floor with views to the mountains. Staff were delightful and very helpful. Good off road parking under the hotel. Only 5 mins walk away No5 tram goes into centre of Heidelberg (€3.40). Would stay here again if in the area."

Be aware that access to rooms in the “Kavilier Haus” above the restaurant requires making a long walk on gravel surface and then steep climb up a curved stairway to reach the first floor.
