"Room was clean and functional; hotel very close to railway station, easily walked with suitcase. Automated check-in was easy on a machine in entrance (entrance is a side door to left of hotel front) - you need a passport number for checkin, but be warned no actual human at hotel reception. A little noisy initially from other guests, although I was in bed early - was quiet during night. Nothing special, but room clean and tidy and recently renovated by looks. "Amazing place with cool concrete and wood construction. Very good restaurant with a beautiful breakfast menu, with outstanding views over Lake Constance. A couple of oddities: our standard room had no details of hotel services such as restaurant opening times, spa details etc. Also, the room heating is centrally controlled so you have to put up with preselected temperatures. There is no phone to connect with the hotel reception and no fridge. "

Fantastic place and very helpful staff

"Fantastic place, with excellent all over service and morning restaurant. The hotel is placed central in Friedrichshafen, and close to everything. Even Though we were on the train station, you couldn't hear the trains ore any other trafic, so perfect place, if you want to explore Bodensee. All the Staff are very friendly, speek english and fantastic helpful, if you ahve questions. We drive electrical car, and it's possible to recharge your car in the basement. Thank you for a pleasant stay. "

"Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful, any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. The self service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day, there is a restaurant also on site but I didn’t use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails,, from what I witnessed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink. There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book but it is a reasonable charge in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without doubt."
