"Beautiful, clean, updated rooms & lobby. Hotel is outside of the main downtown area so unable to walk to restaurants but loved the frequent/free shuttle service into town. Only downside was one of the drivers was very hard on the breaks and I would get very car sick!"

"The history of this mansion was impressive. The room at the top of the 36 stairs was cozy. Great bed and nice size closet. As my husband and I are 70ish we needed a second chair to be able to both be seated other than one of us having to hop up on bed to sit for awhile. The turntable and albums taking up valuable space was charming but did not work as I tried to play the Marley album. Thank you for the continental breakfast which started us nicely for the day for 4 mornings. The staff was over...

"Excellent stay with a ton of amenities and great staff! This was a romantic spot with a private bay and beach access, a convenient shuttle to town that runs every hour to access shops and restaurants, and an option to take the hotel BMW for a few hours to explore the island on our own, not to mention complimentary bikes and afternoon boat rides. Staff supported every request (big and small) and the food was amazing, with views even more so! Overall, so glad we stayed out of the main town area...
