"We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did...

"We had a wonderful one night stay at the Brass Lantern. Don greeted me when I arrived and showed me the common areas before showing me to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas in the living rooms and game room were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a short walk to the village center in Stowe and the recreational trail and about a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes. The next time we visit Stowe we will definitely stay here."

"The place is beautiful with a personal touch everywhere. Breakfast was delicious with 4 different homemade breads, fresh fruit, homemade jams and so many other options. Coffre near fireplace and relaxing music in the morning set the mood for the day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and room was big and clean. The only downside was that the hot tub was occupied by large company of people drinking beer there for hours so other skiers were not able to enjoy it...
