"We stayed one night, just a stop over in our travel plans, and loved the quaintness of the cabin. It was a perfect one room knotty pine cabin which contained everything you need, i.r. coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster oven, hot plate, hairdryer. Well appointed someone put a lot of thought, time anad effort into this oasis. It was December so i cannot speak to outside activities but it snowed about 5". The cabin was toasty warm and picturesque... right out of a movie. We'd definitely stay...

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. The apartment was very cute and comfortable. It was a great place to spend time with family and friends. The beds were very comfortable with excellent bedding. The bathroom was large and very modern. The location allowed easy access to local attractions. After we arrived, our hosts Johann and Sandy were easy to communicate with and they were very prompt to look after our needs. They made us feel very much at home. "The property is as listed. It's new so is very clean and has pretty much all the basics you need. It is remote, almost 3 miles of dirt road, no internet though does have WIFI. There are restaurants 9 miles away in Morrisville with surprisingly good food, ( the duck at Siam Valley Thai was exceptional), as well as groceries, hardware, etc. A good place to escape from our daily craziness."

"As two women staying here by ourselves, this place made us uncomfortable. Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. Didn’t feel as it was worth it to call someone out as we were in the middle of nowhere and still felt unsafe on the property so we left to find a hotel."

"We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!"
