"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people,including a cheese grater and corkscrew. I had a king size bed and also a foldout sofa in the dining/living room. very quiet street in the center of town. "Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

"Love the modern amenities and the convenience to the train station. The breakfast in the morning is fabulous and the decor of the place is whimsical and welcoming. The staff is personable and friendly. This is our second time here and we will return."

"Got the offsite apartment about ½ block away. Nice clean 1 BR loft which is good for younger folks that don’t mind lots of stairs. The apartment comes with a kitchen and the complimentary Prosecco upon arrival was a nice touch. Only wished the apartment had better or rather brighter lighting. "

"A great place to stay for our three nights in Bologna. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. There are grocery stores nearby and a good restaurant across the street. Our place also had a washing machine, which I wasn't expecting. Although a bit dated, the apartment was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The Aparment is an interior unit over looking the interior roof of the building underneath. It's on the second floor right above one of the main city fresh food and fish markets. It's very centrally located right next to the main city square with walkable distance to all the main city attractions. However with that location comes really heavy noise in the evenings from several restaurants and bars downstairs until late, as well as some mornings hearing all the bottles and garbage...

"We had a really good stay in the absolute centre of Bologna. The property was very well kept though the mattress, whilst adequate, could probably do with replacing soon. The property management were very efficient and provided plenty of information to make our brief stay a good one."

"A wonderful apartment in a peaceful location. Great for us having an overnight stay whilst travelling through Italy. The room was comfortable, private and very quiet. A lovely garden and easy if you have a pet. The breakfast was fabulous and the owners really cant do enough to help. we bought two bottles of local wine which was delicious! "Its in a great location but we were on the top floor of 4 flights of very steep stairs trying to carry heavy suit case. there was no help from the girl who showed us the room. "Hotel situato a metà strada, circa, tra stazione dei treni e centro città, quindi comodissimo per chi viaggia in treno. La nostra stanza era al terzo piano ed era grande, pulita e silenziosa. "Phi hotel is right in the heart of the old town, within a few minutes walk to the main square. We stayed at an annexed apartment that's really spacious, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms. The is parking for an additional fee, it's very tight and I had to be very careful to get in and out. However, a hotel staff was there to provide guidance which was a big help. We didn't need the car while we stayed at the hotel, and walked everywhere since it's so close to the old town center. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Bologna."

"This was a surprise stay! Certainly a little older lodging, but very charming and located superbly— 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to the historic downtown of Bologna. I was greeted by the friendliest hotel staffer I’ve ever met. Franco was a delight! He was helpful, hospitable, lovely disposition, and very generous with his time and attention. The hotel has all the reasons one would want to return, but Franco certainly seals the deal! "

"It’s my second stay at this hotel and I love it. It’s very traditionally Italian so don’t expect sleek and modern. But that’s how I like my hotels in Italy. The location is perfect - right in the historical centre and literally seconds away from great bars and restaurants and all the main sights in Bologna centre. The buffet breakfast is great and the staff really helpful. "
