3/5 - Okay
Man its expensive to travel up a hill these days, especially if you want to park! We had decent weather on the day, but the conditions were sketchy, and half the mountain was closed. Still had to pay $145 for a day pass though.

Ski hire is 20% cheaper off the mountain, JD Sports at Bright or Myrtleford, or Hoys in multiple places. Kids Club at the resort is fantastic value, our 6yo got into linked turns on day 2 going down Big D. We bought lots of clothes from Aldi but don't forget to buy goggles before getting to Hotham as sun glare is intense on the mountain. Arrive afternoon before and pick up gear to avoid a lengthy queue in the morning at all the hire shops.
Great - snow in May! Make sure you carry chains if signed.
