"This is an older place that shows pride of ownership. The room was clean, with decent amenities, soft towels, good bed, and so on. The room is small but it was just me so it was no problem. Dunsmuir, at least that strip where this motel is, is right next to a hill on the freeway so it has lots of freeway noise. I was fine with it but it’s worth knowing about. The room next to mine was empty but I suspect that the walls might need thin, as they were in older motels. "

"The office for Strawberry Valley Inn looked like something out of a fairy tale. The grounds were inviting and well maintained with tables and chairs to sit and visit or have a drink. The inn had a feel of an old motor court motel with 2024 updates. There was even a peek at Mount Shasta. The inn is perfectly located to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. "
