"The Meriton Suites Herschel is in a great location across from the Roma Street Train Station. This makes it easy getting back and forth from the airport and other locations. It's also an easy walk into the CBD. The rooms are spacious and have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only disappointment is that photos on Expedia didn't match my room. My room was quite low on what is a very tall tower. My view was of other people's apartments. With the way the lift system works I couldn't access any floors higher than mine, so the outside area shown in the photos was off limits to me. I had quite a long stay and so it would have been nice to have had a better view. Other than this I would highly recommend the Meriton Suites. "

"I thought the hotel stay was very good the only improvement would be to make the TV and cast ability easier to access as it was impossible to connect. "

"It was a lovely comfortable room. I could hear my neighbor's tv any time it was on. They used to have a restaurant attached to the hotel but it's now separate. That means that room service isn't an option. I often walked down to that restaurant for breakfast or dinner, but it would have been nice to just call room service. "

"Really comfortable welcoming place, it was just a hotel room we booked & it was the perfect space for us to use for our stay. Parking was a bit confusing at first because we’re not from Brisbane but the garage is at the front (not really anywhere on road to pull over so had to park in driveway of it to run inside & check in). At $35 a night it’s kinda average for everywhere we looked & we felt secure with our car in a locked space plus good sized parking spaces. Elevators are really fast, hotel is clean & quiet. We appreciated the double glass doors on balcony so didn’t hear street noise or any others. TV was huge haha with lots of options of movies/shows/music so that was cool. Fridge could fit 2 bottles of wine lying down. The shower was massive & good pressure, they even had a small portable mirror that lit up so came in handy when getting ready. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. We only had coffee at the cafe but the barista was lovely & coffee was on point. Food options looked great & nearby there’s quite few choices or lots on ordering apps. Would’ve loved to stay longer than a night for a show we were attending to be honest. It’d be a nice staycation spot to just relax & get out of the hustle & bustle of city life. Front desk staff were really sweet & helpful. Would stay here again. Nice view from balcony on level 2. Neighbourhood looks like it’d be very lively on a weekend (we were there on a weekday). We went to Lefty’s & it was a cool spot! "

"I stayed at hotel with my cousin in two double bed room with balcony,. it was absolutely awesome, staff was very nice and helpful. We really did feel special and very welcomed. our experience was more than excellent. we will be back in near future. thank you all "
