"Casa Italia was a beautiful and luxurious experience. One of the nicest places I have stayed, personally. I usually do more budget travelling, but decided to splurge on this trip and it was well worth it. "I loved this Hotel the moment I walked in The staff were the most friendliest most welcoming people I have ever met. They made my Cuba holiday a real experience. They arranged my little trips. They joined in with me watching English Football. They became my family and best friends. They taught me Cuban Spanish and I taught them English. We laughed and we were happy. "The property was a taxi ride from the main area of Havana but taxis were organised very easily. the rooms and en suite bathrooms were large and the bed very comfortable. shower a bit temperamental but it didn't matter. The house was full of old and interesting artefacts and the main guy spoke really good English and was very helpful. breakfast seemed to be whenever we wanted it and was basically anything we wanted. Very good coffee! Our stay was overall excellent"

"excellent location if your are going to take an early bus, it is just around 15mins walk to vizual bus terminal. Very friendly owner, she prepares breakfast for us even at 4:30am as we are leaving for the bus at 6am. All facilities are good. Only downside is no free wifi, but it is fine for us as we use our own SIM。"
