Welcome to The Treehouse, expertly managed by Great Mountain Cabin Rentals. The Treehouse is ideal for friends, small families, or a romantic getaway offering privacy and solitude it's just minutes from all that awaits you in downtown Murphy. Beautifully decorated this cabin has everything you need for the perfect vacation.

Comfy sofas with power reclining seats, natural wood decor, and a large woven rug invite you to cozy up for a show in front of our flat screen television or spend time chatting away the evening while a natural wood fire burns in the stone fireplace. Open up the french doors to a screened in porch with 4 rocking chairs, a gas fire-pit and edison lightbulbs lined along the upper beams. On one side of the deck enjoy the brand new hot tub to soak all your cares away. The other side of the deck with will have a picnic table for your outdoor dining delights. Below the deck you will find an additional wood burning fire-pit for that great outdoor experience.

Our spacious kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, a full size fridge, and all the pots and utensils needed to prepare your meals including a dishwasher to allow easy clean up and place settings for four. You will have everything you need to shop for the week and dine in.

The main bedroom boasts a king size bed, private access to the bathroom with a walk in shower. A luxury mattress, plump pillows and bedside lamps. If you need a space to work from home a large log desk is available for you along with high speed internet.

The queen room mattress and pillows are equally comfortable, and hallway access to the bathroom. The room is also equipped with a closet and hanging space for your belongings.

*There is an outdoor driveway camera located on the property*

You will be required to sign a contract and provide a copy of your drivers license.

Wonderful accommodation
We needed a break from Hurricane Helene. In our area in Georgia there was still no electricity and no air conditioning. This vacation rental was perfect for our break. Tbis cabin is in an excellent location. Very close to downtown but you would never know it. It feel like you are really in a treehouse with the screened in porch.

Wonderful secluded getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! The hot tub was wonderful! We saw three deer out of the kitchen window during our stay. Make sure you have a vehicle capable of driving steep inclines as that part is a little tricky.

The property was as my title says, very relaxing! From the moment we pulled up in the driveway until when we left, the place was quiet and peaceful! The home was well stocked with what you would need and the pictures were very true to what the property was like. Would love to visit again! It was exactly what my soul needed. I am a contractor from Georgia who never goes anywhere. Hardly ever and had just worked myself into the ground. The moment I pulled in the driveway. And rolled my window down and talked to the deer. I knew where I was supposed to be. Everything was perfect. And it got cold enough to Make a fire and really enjoy the hot tub. At night. We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was so clean, easy check in and close to town yet so quiet! The added touch was the neighbor's dog came to visit us a couple times a day. He was so cute! Sitting in the hot tub listening to nature was amazing. We will stay he again!

Wonderful weekend!
We stayed for a weekend and absolutely loved this cabin! Everything we could ever need was provided, every comfort already thought of and in place, beautiful appliances, and decor. We take 3-5 short trips a year without the kids (we call them Marriage Maintenance) choosing different areas and cabins each time. We have been very lucky to have stayed in some great cabins, however, in 8 years of doing these trips this was the very first cabin that we said "We must come back!" because it was so beautiful, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable! The location feels secluded yet is close to town, the neighborhood dog is the friendliest pup we've ever encountered, and the screened deck was so inviting and comfortable that we spent most of our time out there. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I haven't said this in 8 years, but we WILL be back!

This is such a beautiful cabin, comes with everything for a relaxing time away from the hustle of daily life. You have an outdoor firepit, Aspen Spa hotub, Oriflame gas firepit on the screened in porch and extremely clean cabin fully equipped. It is also nicely located; we went Whitewater rafting on Ococee River, ziplinning in the Cherokee Forest an hour away, went to Helton Falls a must see, bring your swimwear and swim under the falls, it is located south of Blairsville, GA about an hour from the cabin and also Gatlinburg TN about 2 hours if that. I would Highly recommend staying here. We are actually going to re book in July to take the girls bext time.

Great Cabin in a Great Location
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. The cabin was very private but perfectly located right in Murphy, close to shopping and other amenities. The appliances and furniture were all fairly new, and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We wished we could've stopped time and enjoyed our stay for longer. We plan on coming back soon.

Short Getaway

Relaxing!
Our stay was relaxing, we were first greeted by a neighborhood dog/pup - very friendly (found doggy treats in washroom area) the place was very clean, relaxing, we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We had a wonderful (much needed) relaxing time, I personally was not a fan of the driveway at the house, just a bit too steep for me. We had dinner at local restaurants they were great, we spent time at the local casinos (we both really loved gambling a bit) my husband slept very comfortably in the master room, unfortunately I was not able to but, did manage to get a good night sleep in the other room. There was a thunderstorm on our last night’s stay but the “Treehouse” had such a comfortable atmosphere I was not scared nor worried of the storm.
