"This is a great property, in an excellent location. The buffet breakfast is the best anglo, hotel-provided, breakfast I've had in a long time. For some reason on the seond morning the food was only luke warm - and we were down fairly early. First day though was primo. Great new wide screen TV - but couldn't find a program guide on the TV. It calls it a 'guide' but its only a channel list. Although a smart tv I couldn't find apps so that I could log in to my own programming - but that could have been my own incompetence with an unfamiliar device. We'll be back, no doubt."

"Old property tastefully renovated. Ensuite bathroom. Quiet other than band time downstairs which didn't bother me as when I owned hotels and lived upstairs I got used to it. The music stopped at a reasonable hour and good to sit at the bar and listen anyway. "

"X Kirra apartments were amazing. Not sure how long ago they were built but they look and feel almost brand new. Very clean, fresh and modern. The view was outstanding. We could see all the way to the high rises of the Goldie. We found an awesome little coffee/breakfast spot called the Kirra Cafe which was right next door to our apartments. Kirra Surf club is about a 2 minute walk and we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant attached to the surf club called Sibling. No matter were you go, you get that amazing view. We had a cheese platter and wine from our verandah overlooking the beach and surf. There is a section of the beach with flags and surf lifesavers almos t directly across the road. The paths and bikeways are extensive and an electric bike is a great way to see the sights. The other thing i like about Kirra is that it still has a feel of the old coast charm about it...not too packed with leople. Will defs be back."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Mantra at Salt Beach. Staff are lovely, parking is underground, pool is huge and accessible, and beach is metres away. Very convenient, great services, clean and well appointed room and a set up port a cot for our use. We will be back for sure!"

"This is an all round lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely and helpful, the property itself is well maintained and clean. Great location, walking distance to everything. No need to drive. The pool area is really nice and a large space. Lots of kids if you’d prefer no kids, but a great holiday spot for kids. The pool is big and lovely and plenty of chairs and umbrellas around the pool. The parking was great and very easy. If you arrive early the staff are so good at letting you park and then use the pool areas until check in. It’s not a super modern building but it’s comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!! "
