"Great staff despite our inability to communicate in Japanese. Front desk even helped us to track down a package that we had sent from Amazon. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service. I took a star off for room cleanliness as there was a used popsicle stick left on the headboard of our bed by the previous guest. The rest of the room was immaculate. "

"This hotel has been our home while we are in Tokyo. The staff are very polite and friendly. Rooms are clean, location is super convenient! Right across the street from Ikebukuro station. Lots of dining and shopping options in the many department stores located in the train station. Also a huge plus for us is the Airport Limousine Bus service which drops us off and picks us up to and from the Haneda airport. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Kario Sasazuka. It was very close to the Sasazuka station which allowed us to get to various train stations quickly. It’s a very minimalist hotel but they provided us with all the basic amenities that we needed including a fridge, stove, microwave, washer, blow dryer, towel and iron. "Spent 11 days here, Fresh towels daily and cleaning every 3 days. Right across the street from the Oedo Line which is one that traveled to most of my destinations for the entire stay.
