"Mixed bag for this hotel. It is in a great location with thoughtful, attentive, friendly staff, but the room was in relatively poor condition. Lots of stains on all the furniture, lamp shades, and even the curtains. The bathroom tub was cracked and damaged. That said, the bed was comfortable and the linens clean. "Very good location if you want easy access to the imperial city. The neighborhood was fairly quiet. The staff were great and very helpful. My room was always and all on one floor.On-site restaurant and coffee shop were very good. Walkable to the river and night market, if you like a good walk. "Had a great short stay at Hue Sweethouse. Sam & Moon, the hosts are super helpful and we took their advice on some of the must see spots in Hue. We are now salt coffee converts and really loved our convenient spot, close to all the main attractions and the walking area of Hue. "On checking in, we were greeted with a friendly service. It was my husbands birthday that day, and the hotel kindly gave us a room upgrade along with some complimentary treats in our room. We made dinner reservations for the 33rd floor restaurant and on finishing our meal my husband was given a lovely birthday dessert along with a happy birthday song. The level of service was exceptional and we will be sure to tell our family and friends."

"The staff at Orchid Hotel are very kind and welcoming. They set up our room special for our honeymoon and provided a free cake as well, which was so nice. They were attentive and helpful with tips for things to do. The area around the hotel can be quite noisy at night, making rest difficult for light sleepers. The building itself is a bit stale and could use a refresh. We felt as though our 'Romance Room' did not match the photos here on Expedia. "
