"First we made this reservation in May with hotels.com. Then a week before our stay we got a call from a 3rd party booking saying that we were double booked and that our reservation would be canceled. They offered us a different place with pictures. We reluctantly agree since we were a week from our scheduled vacation. As we get to South Padre Island we get to the location we noticed a van already parked in the condos driveway. "Management was very understanding. With that being said, we were refunded after we were bitten by bed bugs from head to toes. This cut our trip very short and we had to go to the laundromat and wash and dry everything before moving to a hotel around midnight. We once again stopped at the laundromat at our hometown scared to bring anything home. My wife turned out to be allergic to the bites and is currently still not back to normal, the swelling is very significant. Again, management was...

"As a local to the Valley this is our “go to” bargain hotel and we’ve been staying here for years. The kitchenette is a great feature, bring and cook your own food. The hotel is ON THE BEACH (and chair/umbrella rentals) The only thing that isn’t so great is the pool, small and gets crowded. No bar/food but there’s a separate restaurant in the parking lot! For the price it’s a great, clean deal of a room especially for families. Rooms are not huge, balcony views of the ocean are worth it though!"
