"I had a wonderful stay at this Japanese hotel! The tatami room was incredibly comfortable, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The outdoor onsen was fabulous, providing a perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast/ dinner included were delicious and truly added to the experience. I would definitely come back again! Highly recommend!"

"Nice traditional old Japanese style stay. Though Breakfast is also traditionally Japanese style with rice! Yes morning Breakfast with rice, we still prefer bread or something light. Room extremely spacious compare to Tokyo city. Might need some renovations to upgrade tho. "

"The service at Koshinoyado Takashimaya was unbelievably perfect, consistently exceeding my every expectation. The food was so exceptional that I must say it was better than most any other ryokan I've stayed at. The menu served, the quality of the ingredients and the careful, discerning preparation made each meal an event to look forward to. Yes, this is an older ryokan, but its food and service stand as truly compelling reasons to stay here."
