Be aware this is not walking distance to Myeongdong, although there are plenty of convenient buses and trains within steps from the main door. "friendly and helpful staff. hotel is clean and well maintained. love that it is equipped with washer and dryer. good selection and variety of food for breakfast. lovely convenient store onsite. convenient and easy access to the subway. lots of walkable restaurants. The hotel is superb but the location has surrounding areas that are cluttered and lots of people smoking on streets. there is also an abandoned burned building adjacent to the hotel so the optics in that area are not soothing. if you have allergies to cigarettes, beware when booking uber taxi. some taxis smelled cigarette smoke. otherwise the hotel itself is excellent!"
"Stayed here when my family and I visited Seoul. It’s in a great location, next to the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong, actually about a 15 min walk one way. And if you don’t want to walk use Uber for metered taxis, but make sure to have Korean Won on hand, as Apple Pay has issues for IPhone users. Any case, hotel is clean and staff are friendly and speak English. They also have an onsite money exchanger machine. Onsite washer and dryer are efficient and you pay by physical credit card. Beds are comfortable, and there is a nearby convenience store for your daily needs (water, snacks, etc..). Highly recommended for USA tourists with young children (over 5). If you have a stroller, would recommend something closer or within Myeongdong."
