"Check in was ok although a long line with only 2 ppl in front desk. It was prepaid w/double breakfast but the next day the breakfast site could not find my record so the bill was sent to my room. Later then I received a call from front desk to ask how to pay the room fee etc. I replied it was prepaid and then I sent my receipt to front desk, then front desk said they need to verify with if I need to pay or not with financial dept to check if they receive fund or not. "Nice hotel for the price. Clean, well sized rooms. Breakfast has a nice selection of chinese and western foods. One thing to note, but it is a reflection of chinese culture, not a criticism of the Hotel directly, there are no atms in the Hotel or vicinity. Most things in China are paid by WeChat through phone payments. Cash isn’t common, so isn’t alwats easy to get. Part of the issue is that there is nothing near the hotel and I mean nothing. "

"Located in a convenient location in the heart of Shangdi / Zhongguancun. Close to great dining and shopping options. Surrounded by banks. The breakfast included in the daily charge is excellent. Very good staff - they refuse to take tips but I insisted by leaving the money on the bed when I checked out."

Convenient location

"Convenient location. Near malls and near the Beijing subway. This is my 3rd time staying at Crown Plaza Zhongguancun. The staff are polite and converse well in English. Hotel isn’t modern but is decent in its amenities. Great gym and overall happy with my stay. Pillow can be a little bit more fluffed up. I found it a little flat. "

"CONS: The room was not very clean. The bathroom fixtures were broken and their was mildew all over the shower. We found random small bugs in the room on 2 or 3 counts. The walls have cracks and damage. Staff were also not super friendly. No one ever smiles at this hotel. PROS: very comfortable bed. Room is very quiet and black out blinds work great. Central location close to shopping and the university. Hotel and surrounding area felt very safe even at night."
