"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. I was also highly impressed with the hotels very real efforts to eliminate the use of plastics an recycle...

"Staff is very helpful and well yet to resolve concerns quickly. They offer great advice on what to do in the area and how to get around. The bar attached to the hotel ground floor is dimy lit but appears clean, and service is decent. Wifi is sporadic throughout the property but staff offered me a mobile wifi device during my stay. The restaurant food, served both in the restaurant and bar was good. Staff in the restaurant need more training on setup, clearing used plates, advising guests...

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "
