Bed bugs in the private room.
We really hate to put this term in a review, but there were bed bugs in our private room. The staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating, but we ended up spending about two hours in our room before we noticed we were being bitten, killed a bug full of blood and saw others on the wall and comforter. Thankfully there was a camping area associated with the hostel and we had a tent for an upcoming trek so we moved outside, told them in the morning, they didn't charge us and apologized and we found another hostel. Hopefully they properly address the problem.

Check in was 2:00pm, i arrived at 2:30 and my room wasnt ready, i came back at 5:30 and was told it would be a couple mins because they were painting my room. Smelled like laquer the 2 days i was there. Insects in the bathroom flying around and was bitten by bugs from the sheets. Had to sleep in my sleeping bag which was very hot due to the stove for cooking was downstairs and always had a fire burning.

Man ist direkt am Wasser und alles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Es gibt gemütliche Gemeinschaftsräume mit einem kuscheligen Ofen. Check-In und -Out waren super easy. Das Bad oben war immer sehr sauber und auch eigentlich immer frei. Das Zimmer war deutlich kleiner als auf den Bildern, aber dafür mit Aussicht. Das Bett war super gemütlich. Es gab leider einen kleinen Wasserschaden an der Decke, wo wir nicht sagen können, wie es wird, wenn es mal ordentlich regnet. Das sollte man vllt mal reparieren.

A recommendable stay
A very nice and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen has all the supplies you need. Comfortable beds and very friendly and helpfull staff.
