Location, Location, Location!
Book this darling cottage and listen to the sounds of Guadalupe River roll by. This 2 bedroom/1 bath home has everything you need to make a great getaway; EVERYTHING is new with the exception of the original floors, fireplace & roof!
Brand new appliances in the kitchen, a great dining room, a large living room, and a huge screened-in porch, sit just above the Guadalupe River. Two separate, comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are decorated with local art and have 100% cotton bedding. A large bathroom with shower/tub combo. A full laundry room is located downstairs. And again, the huge screened-in porch is the absolute best: with additional dining space and sitting areas.
Outside, you are steps away from the Guadalupe, enjoy our fire-pit and bbq gas grill (propane included). We provide all the items needed (besides food/drinks) to enjoy the perfect getaway. Not up for cooking? No problem! We're less than 15 miles from Gruene, TX! Downtown New Braunfels is just a little further and has plenty of restaurants, bars, and entertaining venues.
(Camp) Milagro also houses "The Cabins at Camp Milagro" (another rental, sleeping up to 12) and the "A-frame" (home to the owners) on a total of 90 acres. Both "The Cabins" and "A-frame" are located on different parts of the acreage - so you'll have plenty of privacy - (a map will be provided). We have lots of space for you to hike and explore, so bring some good shoes!
Milagro has 1/3 mile of private frontage to the Guadalupe River. Grab a chair or a tube, a cool drink, and get ready to relax! We are just a quick walk/drive to the nearest river outfitter where you can rent tubes or kayaks and be taken upriver to float back down to us! We have plenty of riverbank space to throw in a pole and try your luck with fishing.
If interested in floating the Comal River, you can drive or contact other outfitters in Gruene or New Braunfels.
Ever been to the world's greatest waterpark? Schlitterbahn is located 8 miles away and is a "bucket list" for all ages! Besides Schlitterbahn, New Braunfels has a wonderful German history! Visit Krause's Cafe for its German feel with live music, great food, and LOTS of beer from its Bierhalle. The city of New Braunfels has plenty of options for shopping, eating, drinking and great times.
Gruene, TX is within 5 miles and a perfect way to spend a day or evening. Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas, is a Must-Do (perfect for photo-ops!). Try the Gristmill for great authentic Texas food. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. You won't regret a visit to Gruene!
Canyon Lake (15 miles away) is an absolute beauty! Highly suggest packing a lunch, renting a pontoon, and enjoying lake life for an afternoon!
There's plenty to do! Come play and explore!
