Summary:
It is easy to fall in love with this stately home abundant with historical features paired with modern fixtures and tasteful wallpaper. Less than 2 blocks away from St Charles Ave and its iconic streetcar and barely 1 mile to the French Quarter, you are walking distance to many of New Orleans finest shopping, restaurants and venues.

The Space:
You will enter the home and be greeted by an open foyer with a chandelier, seating and desk. To your left is a dining area centered in front of a historical fire place and tall hardwood framed mirror that connects to a cozy and inviting living area with French windows. The bottom floor has a full bath, kitchen loaded with amenities and large laundry/storage room through which you can access the spacious backyard with plenty of seating and string lights.

Heading up the stately winding staircase, you will find yourself in a landing area that accesses the balcony area with seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The upstairs floor has three bedrooms with luxury bedding and extremely comfortable mattresses and a full bath with double vanity and a recessed jacuzzi tub.

Guest Access:
You have access to the entire home, balcony and private, fenced in back yard area.

The Neighborhood:
Only two blocks away to St Charles Ave and barely a mile to both the French Quarter and Magazine St, you are walking distance to shopping, pharmacies, and some of New Orleans most well known establishments including Mr Ed's Oyster Bar, Mr John's Steakhouse and The Avenue Pub.

Getting Around:
Walk two blocks to St Charles Ave to ride the iconic street car along the wide avenue with its majestic oak trees. New Orleans is easy and affordable to traverse via Uber/Lyft. The home also has free off-street parking.

Quirky & Fun in NOLA
We enjoyed the property very much - had everything we needed, very walkable to French Quarter, Warehouse district, Superdome, cemeteries, Garden district. Just 2 blocks from the trolley. Loved the furnishings and decor! We did have initial problem with the lockbox, but that was solved with a quick phone call. Hot water heater was a problem one morning, but property manager got right on it and was working great same day. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful space!
The house has a ton of character. There were ram's heads on the top & bottom of the banister & a freaking gargoyle on the upstairs balcony. The stove is different from the pictures - it's probably a $5k stove. I wish we'd stayed long enough to cook a meal! There were thoughtful touches throughout. I appreciated the white noise machines in each bedroom & hooks everywhere! There's shampoo, conditioner, & body wash in both bath tubs & hand soap in both bathrooms. The only things that I see in hotels that weren't there are tissues, lotion, & bar soap, but no complaints. I appreciated that there was plenty of coffee. I loved all the wallpaper choices. We would stay there again. It's 2 blocks to the St. Charles streetcar, & maybe 6 blocks to both Wendy's and Popeyes, & The Avenue Pub, one of my favorite places in NOLA. It was maybe 8 blocks to the Ponchetrain Hotel. There was a fingernail on the bathroom counter when we checked in, so maybe that space didn't get properly cleaned. It's 2 blocks to a major homeless camp, which I knew when I booked. We talked to a few unhoused folks walking to Popeyes. I'd like to see a grab bar in the upstairs bath for the 2' drop into the tub. The plug for the white noise machine was sticky-washed my hands after touching that & throwing away the fingernail & it was all good. It seemed clean otherwise. Designed for tall people-short Aunt had trouble reaching stuff, had to use 1st floor bath. AC might be iffy when hot. Checkout rules were reasonable.

Fun Trip to New Orleans
Super charming home with all the historic touches. We took a couple family photos inside because it was so cute. Great space for our family to spread out. We have never been to New Orleans and this house is a great spot between a trolley line and a bus stop. Definitely saved the headache of figuring out parking in the various districts. Super clean, you can tell the management company has great standards. When we needed to reach someone responses were so quick. Would definitely recommend!
