"I needed a room for the nite and it provided me with what i needed. I would suggest the matteresses are changed and the shower is looked at. They are either cold or really hot. It was difficult to modulate the temperature to a warm setting. The matress was too soft"

"I only stayed at The Grosvenor 2 nights. I didnt find the guest house as advertised. There were weeds growing on the outside steps. The room was so so. The toilet in the bathroom was only held to the floor with one bolt. I think carpeting could have been shampooed. The proprietor was pleasant enough. "

"Lovely family run hotel near the seaside and town center. We stayed in the Sarah apartments which were a self contained unit with complete kitchen. This was important to us as our daughter can not eat anything containing gluten. The bedding was natural, feathered and thick. The rooms had fresh air and were warm. The owners were excellent hosts. The location was close to pubs, restaurants, shops and bars. "

"They moved our time earlier on the ferries so we had to ditch one night in london so i booked this one on the photos and omg i should have run when another lady came out saying it was ok they didnt need it. I had a choice and picked the top floor. My hairs in my nose were burning . Toilet was sitting at a 45 degree angle and ask my hubby not to sit . I think i sleep 2 hrs all night. In saying that its in a prime position for the ferry that they could do wonders if maintained. It certainly didnt...

The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."

"Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water...
