Unfortunately we didn't get to try the breakfast as we missed it the 1st morning and when we went down the following morning all doors to dining area we locked and no one around to ask. "The staff were excellent, polite, friendly and efficient. The room was very very good - good standard of fittings, bed extremely comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. In a fantastic location with astonishing views out over the city and "easy" access to the castle and cathedral - I say "easy" because although it's a short distance to them, Lincoln is a very hilly place! All in all, a brilliant stay."

"We enjoyed staying there and it was ideally located to give a break on our journey. It was comfortable and clean in the room and the pub. We were made very welcome and the practical arrangements for room access very easy, though access is via stairs. The food in both evening and morning was delicious, as the local ale too. It was easy to get to this location and very near to tourist and leisure destinations in Derbyshire."

"What I particularly liked and the primary reason I booked a stay at this B&B was the proximity to the village of Spridlington. A 3 mile country road walk to the church where some of My ancestors are buried. The bonus was how welcoming the hosts were providing a hardy breakfast each morning and friendly chats. The en suite room was very comfortable and quiet."
