Easy parking, rooms were clean and tidy. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. Having a restaurant there was very handy. The meal was beautiful, and the staff were lovely. Would stay there again. 🤗

This is my opinion and experience staying at this hotel, the positive is it’s near the city centre and the hotel is clean. This is not enough for me to want to go for a repeat stay. The hotel has a strict 2pm check in policy, I would advise they list this in their bio so not to give false hope to potential customers. I had a wedding that started at 3pm, I did contact the property with the opportunity to check in early they said not likely as they are a motor inn and they need to clean the property. They said I could try and come in early to see but unlikely. I wanted to cancel but unknowingly there was a car show on during that period so places were booked out or extremely over priced. We decided to keep the booking and try our luck. We arrived a bit early but the hotel door to reception was locked and I was met with an abrupt man. That was just weird. Anyway, we came back at 2pm to check in. This time the couple seemed nice but I didn’t want to have a conversation just the room key as I needed to get dressed and rush to the wedding. That is my check in experience, here is my experience on Check out. Check out is at 10am, we had booked x2 rooms we left to get breakfast and returned at 9:40am to get our bags and all the hotel room doors were wide open. Our bags were exposed to anybody to walk in and take our belongings. We didn’t check out, according to policy we had until 10am. If you have a strict 2pm check in why not keep the same policy for check out at 10am.

Stopover on way North. Bed comfortable and shower good. Tea coffee facilities and microwave,toaster. Plates cutlery and bowls. Microwave toaster and kettle access cramped. Socks or something similar quite visible under bench from previous tenant which made me question cleanliness Short walk to bowls club.
