Excellent service from the staff, one slightly less friendly waitress at breakfast but it didn’t let down how great it was on the whole. The front desk folks were VERY helpful and accommodating. We were spontaneously upgraded rooms, and it was a spectacular room indeed. Very comfy bed and great air conditioning. We would definitely return, one of the best in Newcastle for a city break!

Lovely hotel. Service, food and ambience all great. We were given what appeared to be a disability access room which we hadn’t asked for but it was fine. We would stay here again.

The room we were in was slightly tired (Springfield) and the corridors are equally tired. It’s a little further out than anticipated, the noise from the adjacent room kept us awake. They were running a bath at 4.30am and it was very noisy. The staff were excellent, the bar area is lovely and breakfast was first rate.

Great hotel nice location for a special occasion
Good boutique hotel catering for the upper end of customers. Fantastic rooms with a bath in the room. Ad great furniture and fireplace. This is a place you want to go to if you don’t want a run of the mill experience. It’s not far from Newcastle quayside

Newcastle (Ouseburn)
Unfortunately we couldn't make the most of this lovely hotel because we were out and about nearby but it was ideally located for where we needed to be. We had to park up and check in way too early for a room to be ready for us but this was no problem for the very friendly and accommodating staff and when we arrived back at the hotel late in the day a room had been allocated to us and our luggage had kindly been taken to it. We'll return to do the hotel justice in thd not too distant future.

Great time in Newcastle
Great time at the Hotel which is just outside the city centre - about a fifteen minute walk by the river and quayside. The hotel is also well situated for visits to the biscuit factory and ouseburn. Hotel was clean and friendly - very nice bistro - staff very professional and helpful.
