"The George is a lovely old building but needed a bit of tlc in places. The room was comfortable and in a quiet position with parking right outside the room. The setting of the hotel is beautiful- next to the river in a lovely little village but there are no other amenities nearby. The food was nice enough although my gammon was overcooked and a little dry. The breakfast was plentiful and there was lots of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful."
