Old, dirty building. Carpet had stains, broken sink and no pressure for shower at all. Parking $60, staff at front desk was rude and not accommodating at all

We booked a room with courtyard view. Got a view of a wall to the restaurant sign. It really caught me off guard to open the door and have literal stairs from the door to the floor of the room. The water in the shower did not get hot for almost 15 minutes it was still ice cold. The toilet took forever to flush, the bathroom tap leaked. The dresser cabnets were a little lopsided (not that we use the dresser but i think presentation is key). ALSO THERE WAS AN OPEN CANDY SITTING ON THE CHAIR WHEN WE WALKED IN! Also the pillows weren't the softest a little hard and lumpy. You definitely get what you pay for. Nothing bad to say about the staff as the girl we checked in with was super nice! It's great that they offer coupons for things like the chocolate and maple leaf tours and discounts on resturants. The pool and hot tub were probably the bonus factor as they weren't busy when we went and very clean. The pool was warm and the hot tub was definitely hot and jets were powerful. The location is overall nice very central for some restaurants and the casino. I was just baffled about the things that weren't the best about the room. The layout from the side 2nd floor entrance was a little confusing as well.i think it wouldve been nice to have a sign saying room numbers one way and the other as we had trouble finding our room in the first place (followed numbers up one direction to find our room in the opposite direction)

Concierge was just security and actually grunted at ne when i asked a simple question Found bed bug in room and was told about company policy and how i was wrong Manager then said they were asking me to leave as i spoke rude to her. Qorst hotel stay in the falls. Qe stay in falls every march break and xmas and willNEVER SATY AT OAKES AGAIN. Pls dont be fooled by "falls :view" Literally worst experience ever. My wife and I lived in the falls for many years worked in the hotel industry so we are very laid back about gust service etc. I cant stress this enough... Worst stay in the falls ever!!!!!
